Key Responsibilities:




  1. Financial Reporting:


    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including
      balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

    • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and
      annual financial reporting.

    • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for
      deviations from budgeted figures.


  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:


    • Collaborate with the management team to prepare annual
      budgets and financial forecasts.

    • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates
      to management.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend
      measures to optimize financial performance.


  3. Tax Compliance:


    • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and
      regulations.

    • Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, income
      tax, and other statutory filings.

    • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to
      facilitate audits and resolve tax-related issues.


  4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:


    • Oversee the management of accounts payable and
      receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

    • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve any
      discrepancies.

    • Implement credit control measures to minimize bad
      debts.


  5. Internal Controls and Compliance:


    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to
      safeguard company assets.

    • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures,
      and regulatory requirements.

    • Conduct periodic reviews of financial processes and
      implement improvements as needed.


  6. Audit and Assurance:


    • Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
      and ensure the timely completion of audits.

    • Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary
      documentation to auditors.

    • Address audit queries and implement audit
      recommendations.


  7. Financial Analysis and Decision Support:


    • Conduct financial analysis to support business
      decisions, including investment appraisals and cost-benefit analysis.

    • Provide insights into financial trends and performance
      metrics.

    • Assist in developing financial models and business
      plans.


  8. Team Leadership:


    • Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring
      effective delegation and professional development.

    • Foster a collaborative work environment and promote a
      culture of continuous improvement.

    • Ensure team adherence to deadlines and quality
      standards.




Qualifications and Skills:




  • Education:
    Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management,
    preferably in the manufacturing sector.

  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems) and
    advanced Excel skills.

  • Knowledge:
    Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS), tax regulations,
    and financial reporting.

  • Analytical Skills:
    Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Communication:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
    present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.

  • Leadership:
    Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
