Job Title: Assistant warehouse manager
Location: bangalore

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure the efficient use of warehouse space by organizing goods according to company standards.
- Monitor stock levels and work with the Warehouse Manager to identify replenishment needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipments by overseeing order fulfillment processes.
Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and guide warehouse associates to ensure they meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- Assign tasks to staff members and provide direction on proper procedures.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
- Oversee the implementation of inventory control systems to track goods from receipt to dispatch.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain records of warehouse activities, including shipment logs, inventory records, and employee performance reports.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in analyzing warehouse performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
- Report any operational challenges, issues, or incidents to the Warehouse Manager.
Process Improvement:
- Proactively suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of products
