Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly and Installation:

• Assemble and fit mechanical components, parts, and equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
• Install and align machinery and equipment at job sites or production facilities.
• Ensure proper functioning of installed systems by conducting tests and adjustments.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Inspect machinery and mechanical equipment to identify issues or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts using tools, welding equipment, and other techniques.

Technical Skills:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine job requirements.
• Operate tools and machinery such as drills, grinders, and lathes with precision.
• Conduct tests and calibrations to ensure equipment meets operational standards.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and guidelines during operations.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery are handled safely and maintained properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Report on completed tasks, materials used, and equipment conditions to supervisors.
• Suggest improvements or modifications to enhance machinery performance.
