Verification and validation engineer

Job description

Required Skills: 

 1) Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming. 

2) Expertise in Embedded Software Verification and Validation as per DO-178B/C guidelines. 

3) Exposure to the software development life cycle and related artifacts. 

4) Familiarity with configuration management tools like SVN/VSS.

 5) Ability to develop software verification test cases and procedures.

 6) Experience in high-level and low-level software requirements-based testing. 

7) Understanding of structural coverage analysis and unit test automation tools.

8) Hands-on experience with test environments, IDEs, or devices for controlling inputs to embedded software. 

9) Good to have python knowledge. 

 Job Responsibilities: 

 1) Document test results, defect reports, and related artifacts in compliance with DO-178B/C guidelines. 

2) Design and develop test plans, test scripts, and test cases for embedded software verification. 

3) Perform debugging, diagnostics, and defect resolution in embedded applications while adhering to testing protocols and quality standards. 

4) Conduct regression testing and utilize automated test tools to validate software behavior, functionality, and integrity. 

5) Maintain detailed problem reports to support change control processes, software design updates, and technical specifications
