Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting/MIS
Designation: Assistant Manager
Location: Gurugram
Responsibilities:
Support in day-to-day operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting,
analysis, and other accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS Reports (such as
Sales MIS, Inventory variance report, Calculation of COGS, etc)
Support the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders (management, departments) and
external stakeholders (investors, auditors).
Audit and audit support:
Liaising with Auditors during audit to ensure smooth completion of financial audit.
Carry out internal audit and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of
financial records.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in preparing and updating budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Help analyze actual financial performance against budgeted figures and identify discrepancies.
Taxation and Compliance:
Assist in tax preparation and compliance, including GST, income tax, and other relevant tax filings.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, industry standards, and corporate governance.
System Improvement and Process Support:
Assist in improving financial systems and internal processes for better efficiency.
Help implement new tools or software to streamline financial operations.
Supporting Tasks:
Support finance team with other administrative and financial tasks as required.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements or financial strategies.
Qualifications:
CA/CMA intermediate/Qualified (Not pursuing)
Must Haves:
Should have experience in Preparation and presentation of financial statements as per Indian GAAP.
Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI
will be preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
