Position: Accounts Manager

Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with the finance team to prepare financial statements. This role involves maintaining a robust financial record-keeping system, monitoring budgets, and providing support during audits and tax filings. The Accounts Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimizing financial performance.


  • Compliance & Auditing:

    • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant tax laws and financial regulations.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit queries.
    • Maintain proper documentation to support financial reports and transactions for audits.
  • Cash Flow & Budget Management:

    • Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to improve cash management.
    • Oversee budget preparation and track departmental expenditures against the budget.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for financial improvement.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Monitor outstanding payments and manage collections from clients.
    • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms when applicable.
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting:

    • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and support long-term financial planning initiatives.
    • Conduct trend analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency.
  • Systems & Process Improvements:

    • Ensure efficient use of accounting software and tools.
    • Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function and recommend system upgrades or workflow enhancements.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement any necessary changes to company practices.
