Job description

JD - Staff Nurse 




Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:
    • Assess patients’ conditions and vital signs.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and assisting with mobility.


  2. Medical Procedures:
    • Assist in medical examinations and procedures.
    • Perform IV insertions, catheterization, and other required procedures.
    • Handle emergency situations and provide first aid as needed.

3. Monitoring and Documentation:_



  • Monitor and record patient progress, symptoms, and changes in condition.



  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Report critical changes to physicians and senior nursing staff.



  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other medical professionals.
    • Educate patients and their families about post-care treatment and lifestyle modifications.
    • Address patient concerns and provide emotional support.

  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
    • Comply with medical ethics and legal nursing standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sterility in work areas and equipment.

    • Qualifications & Skills:


    • Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing, GNM)
    • Certification: Valid Nursing License / Registration with Nursing Council
    • Experience: 0-5 years (Freshers may be considered)
    • Skills Required:
      • Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills
      • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
      • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
      • Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask
