Position: Sales Head
Location: Jabalpur
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Managing Director
Experience Level: 10+ years of experience
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training, development, and coaching to sales staff to enhance their performance.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team by setting clear expectations and providing constructive feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, performance, and sales strategies.
Revenue Growth and Target Achievement:
- Drive the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to expand the company’s customer base.
- Develop key account strategies to grow relationships with high-value clients and retain long-term business.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to ensure the company stays ahead in the market.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure that the company’s value proposition is effectively communicated and resonates with the target audience.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Analyze sales data, customer trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and plans accordingly.
- Review performance against targets, track sales metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in achieving business goals.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, sales reporting, and profitability.
- Ensure that customer feedback is shared across departments for continuous product improvement and customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction is prioritized throughout the sales process.
- Act as the lead negotiator in major deals and strategic partnerships.
