Head Mutual Fund Distribution Business

Role Objective:





To spearhead and scale Company’s
business across India by
formulating a go-to-market strategy, growth plans, driving revenue, and building a robust team.





We are
seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Mutual Fund
Distribution Business on a national scale. The ideal candidate will drive
growth, establish strong partnerships, and build a high-performing team to
expand the business across India.





 





Key Responsibilities:





1.     1.   Strategic Planning
and Growth:


  • Develop and execute a
    comprehensive strategy for setting up
    and scaling the mutual fund distribution business.
  • Set and achieve national targets for revenue, AUM (Assets Under Management), and
    client acquisition.






2.    
Team Leadership:


  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of regional heads,
    relationship managers, and sales professionals.
  • Drive team productivity and foster a collaborative work
    environment.




3.    
Business Development:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and other key stakeholders.
  • Expand the partner
    network to enhance
    market penetration and reach.




4.    
Client Management:


  • Ensure a superior client
    experience by developing robust service standards.
  • Drive initiatives to onboard
    and retain HNI and retail
    clients.




5.    
Marketing and Brand Building:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote
    mutual fund offerings and enhance brand visibility.
  • Conduct webinars, seminars, and campaigns to increase client
    awareness.




6.    
Performance Monitoring:


  • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular
    updates to the leadership team.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.




Key Qualifications and Skills:


Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably MBA in Finance
or Marketing).


Experience:


  • Minimum 15 years of experience in mutual fund distribution or wealth
    management, with 10 years of Team handling & at least 5 years in a
    leadership role.

Skills:


  • Strong understanding of mutual
    fund products, financial markets,
    and
    client
    behavior.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strategic
    partnerships and drive
    business growth.
  • Ability to recruit, mentor, and
    lead large sales and distribution teams across multiple regions, ensuring high
    performance and productivity.




 





Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


  • Achievement of revenue
    and AUM targets.
  • Growth in the client base (HNI and retail).
  • Expansion of the partner and distributor network.
  • Adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Team performance and productivity.
