Stock Controller

Job description

1. Monitor and maintain stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
2. Track incoming and outgoing inventory using stock management systems.
3. Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
4. Ensure proper storage and labeling of stock items.
5. Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for timely restocking.
6. Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management.
7. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or other inventory methods for stock rotation.
8. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in stock handling.
9. Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions.
10. Assist in implementing inventory control procedures to improve efficiency.
