Job description



Key Responsibilities:


  1. Warehouse Operations:

    • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
    • Ensure the efficient use of warehouse space by organizing goods according to company standards.
    • Monitor stock levels and work with the Warehouse Manager to identify replenishment needs.
    • Ensure timely and accurate shipments by overseeing order fulfillment processes.
  2. Team Management:

    • Supervise, train, and guide warehouse associates to ensure they meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.
    • Assign tasks to staff members and provide direction on proper procedures.
    • Foster a positive and productive working environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  3. Inventory Control:

    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts.
    • Work with the Warehouse Manager to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
    • Oversee the implementation of inventory control systems to track goods from receipt to dispatch.
  4. Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Ensure warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  5. Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain records of warehouse activities, including shipment logs, inventory records, and employee performance reports.
    • Assist the Warehouse Manager in analyzing warehouse performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Report any operational challenges, issues, or incidents to the Warehouse Manager.
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Proactively suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Work with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of products
