Job Summary
The Specialist HR (Payroll) is responsible for managing and executing all payroll processing
and compensation and benefits (C&B) related activities, and ensuring compliance with
statutory regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures,
and labor laws. The incumbent will be instrumental in maintaining accurate employee data,
processing timely and accurate payroll, and administering various benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities
∙Payroll Processing:
oEnsure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
oMaintain employee payroll records and reconcile discrepancies.
oManage payroll deductions, taxes, and statutory remittances.
oGenerate various payroll reports for management and statutory requirements.
oStay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
oImplement policies and procedures for timekeeping and leave management.
∙Statutory Compliance:
oEnsure compliance with all applicable labour laws, regulations, and statutory
requirements.
oMaintain accurate employee records and documentation.
oPrepare and submit statutory reports and returns.
oHandle labour-related audits and inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
∙Masters degree in human resources (MBA-HR)
∙Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
∙Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory requirements.
∙Proficiency in HRMS systems and payroll software.
∙Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∙Attention to detail and accuracy.
∙Strong organizational and time management skills.
∙Ability to handle confidential information.
