Experience- 5+ years in Snowflake Data warehousing, SQL Server


Requirements and skills



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake as a data engineer.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure(added)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex data engineering challenges.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.                 


Responsibilities



  • Develop/Implement/ Optimize data pipelines and support team in extraction, transformation and load of data with Snowflake and into Power BI reporting solutions



  • Review and understand complex data set to establish data quality

  • Validate source data quality and drive improvements

  • Translate business requirements into data models to manage data

  • Assist team with day to day queries and issues, backlog management and communications

  • Work with datasets in Microsoft Azure and Snowflake

  • Be willing to learn DevOps tools such as TerraForm to optimize workflows
