Roles & Responsibilities
• Reporting directly to the CEO / senior management, the person will be responsible for leading the Finance and Accounts function, ensuring the accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory norms and implementing and maintaining a robust internal control system
Financial Reporting and Budgeting
oEnsure accurate financial reporting and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
oConduct a robust annual budgeting exercise, working with cross functional heads to ensure prudent planning
oMonitor variances from budget and implement corrective actions if necessary
oAnalyse key performance metrics and provide insights to support decision making and improve key metrics
Compliance
oStay up-to-date with updated accounting standards and rules notified by RBI and other regulators from time to time
oEnsure financial reporting is in line with updated regulations at all times
Audit
oCoordinate and manage audits, including statutory, internal and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing
oAddress audit findings and implement actions to enhance financial controls
Treasury and Cash Management
oInteract closely with lenders and other financial institutions to optimize balance sheet yield and ensure availability of funds as needed
Investor Relations
oMaintain relationships with investors and ensure transparent sharing of information in the form of regular MIS reports
