Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team immediately. As a
Senior Snowflake Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and
maintaining our Snowflake data warehouse solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional
teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to ensure the integrity, availability,
and scalability of our data infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Develop/Implement/ Optimize data pipelines and support team in extraction,
transformation and load of data with Snowflake and into Power BI reporting solutions
• Review and understand complex data set to establish data quality
• Validate source data quality and drive improvements
• Translate business requirements into data models to manage data
• Assist team with day to day queries and issues, backlog management and communications
• Work with datasets in Microsoft Azure and Snowflake
• Be willing to learn DevOps tools such as TerraForm to optimize workflows
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake as a data engineer.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing
complex SQLqueries.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure(added)
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse and resolve complex data engineering
challenges.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
team environment.
7. Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
