Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are
seeking a results-driven and experienced Operations Manager – Logistics
to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics department. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing the movement, distribution, and
storage of goods; ensuring optimal efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with
company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily logistics
  operations including warehousing, transportation, and inventory
  management.


• Develop and implement
  logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of
  goods.


• Manage a team of logistics coordinators,
  warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure productivity and adherence to
  company policies.


• Monitor key performance
  indicators (KPIs) such as delivery accuracy, turnaround time,
  transportation cost, and inventory levels.


• Negotiate contracts and manage
  relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and vendors.


• Ensure compliance with
  local, state, and federal regulations (including safety and environmental
  policies).


• Collaborate with
  procurement, sales, and customer service teams to forecast demand and
  manage supply chain flow.


• Identify opportunities for
  process improvements and cost savings in logistics operations.


• Prepare and manage budgets,
  analyze reports, and present findings to senior leadership.


• Ensure the proper
  maintenance and operation of logistics-related systems and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in
  Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related
  field.


• Minimum 3–4 years of
  experience in logistics or supply chain operations.


• Excellent leadership,
  communication, and organizational skills.


• Strong analytical and
  problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work under
  pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Knowledge of transportation
  regulations, warehouse safety standards, and inventory control best
  practices.
