Job description
JD- Here are some other responsibilities that a station operator might have:
Ensuring a constant flow of electricity
Monitoring instruments to maintain voltage
Checking equipment and valves that monitor pressure, temperature, and vibration
Starting or stopping generator turbines when needed
Disconnecting equipment from circuitry
Performing maintenance on machines
Logging operational data and compiling reports

Monitor entry and exit points of the station and maintain visitor logs.
Conduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
Report suspicious activities or security breaches to the supervisor immediately.
Check that gates, doors, and windows are properly secured.
Operate CCTV, intercoms, and other security systems.
Assist in emergency situations such as fire, evacuation, or medical needs.
Operational Duties:
Operate and monitor basic station equipment such as pumps, lights, or control panels as trained.
Record operational data such as temperature, pressure, or flow levels (if applicable).
Conduct visual inspections and report irregularities in machinery or systems.
Support maintenance staff with minor operational tasks.
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of operational areas.
