Responsibilties

As a Software Developer specializing in video technologies, you will contribute to shaping the future of our enterprise-grade video products. Your responsibilities will revolve around leveraging your expertise in C# and .NET development to design, build, and optimize innovative video-centric applications. Collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and integration of cutting-edge video technologies, protocols, and streaming solutions.

Qualifications

• Good hands-on software development experience using C# and .NET technologies.


• Please ensure that the developer has built some enterprise apps that are used by 6 figure or higher number of users on a regular basis as that will showcase that the person has an understanding of scale, security, performance, and other considerations

• Developer who has good C#, .Net skills but has also worked on complex inter-twined applications that exchange data securely, build caching to enable scale and have fault tolerance built in


• Deeper understanding of how integrations are scaled will be important. Current project integration comprise of integrations where authentication and data exchange is done securely


• Proven track record of working on video-related technologies and protocols.


• In-depth understanding of multimedia streaming, codecs, and video processing.


• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing video-centric applications.


• Familiarity with video encoding, decoding, and transcoding techniques.


• Experience with video streaming protocols such as RTMP, HLS, or MPEG-DASH.


• Knowledge of video quality assessment methodologies and metrics.


• Solid understanding of software development best practices, version control, and agile methodologies.


• Familiarity with cloud-based video services and technologies is advantageous.


• Experience with other programming languages and web technologies is a plus.


• Knowledge of graphics programming and GPU acceleration is beneficial.


• Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in video technologies.
