2 Wheeler Technician (EV)

Job description

An EV two-wheeler mechanic diagnoses and repairs electrical and mechanical issues on electric scooters and motorcycles. They perform routine maintenance, including battery checks, and address problems with electric motors, charging systems, and wiring. This role involves working with specialized tools and adhering to safety regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Diagnosis and Repair: Identifying and fixing faults in EV two-wheelers, including electrical and mechanical systems. 

·         Routine Maintenance: Performing regular service checks, such as battery checks, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. 

·         Component Repair: Repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts, including batteries, motors, and wiring. 

·         Testing and Adjustments: Testing vehicle performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure safety and optimal operation. 

·         Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. 

·         Customer Service: Communicating with clients about vehicle issues and repair timelines. 

·         Workshop Management: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and collaborating with other technicians. 

·         Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols while handling EV systems and components. 

·         Training and Development: Keeping up-to-date with the latest EV technology and service procedures.
