A General Physician, often referred to as a General Practitioner (GP), is a medical doctor who provides comprehensive medical care to a wide range of health issues. They are the primary point of contact for patients and play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses, as well as promoting preventative healthcare.
Key responsibilities of a General Physician:
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide variety of common illnesses and injuries, including acute and chronic conditions.
- Patient Evaluation: Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage patient records.
- Prescription: Prescribe medications and therapies appropriate for the patient's condition.
