Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:
Plan, organize, and manage the procurement of all indirect materials, services, and supplies needed for ACP production support (e.g., office supplies, maintenance tools, software subscriptions, etc.).

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company’s needs for indirect expenses.

Identify and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-efficiency.

Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with delivery schedules, quality standards, and payment terms.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

Collaborate with finance and budget managers to ensure that all indirect expenses fall within budget.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for reducing indirect expenses without compromising quality.

Review historical data and market trends to forecast future purchasing needs and align the budget accordingly.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term, successful partnerships.

Handle supplier-related issues including disputes, delivery delays, or quality problems in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with contract terms and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Contract Management & Compliance:

Draft, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts for indirect expenses, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulations.

Monitor compliance with purchasing policies and corporate governance frameworks.

Ensure timely payment of suppliers and maintain accurate procurement records.

Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with internal departments (Finance, HR, Maintenance, IT, etc.) to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions for each.

Support departments with procurement requests and provide guidance on purchasing procedures.

Provide regular reports on procurement activities, budgets, and potential cost-saving opportunities to senior management.

Market Analysis & Trends:

Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and innovations in the procurement of indirect goods/services.

Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers or products that could improve cost-efficiency and quality.

Evaluate pricing trends and adjust strategies based on market conditions.
