Job Title: Computer Science Faculty – Full-Time Location: Mirai School of Technology - Delhi NCR/ Bangalore About Us Mirai is a next-generation AI launchpad redefining how Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence are taught in India. Unlike traditional academic setups that lean heavily on theory, Mirai adopts an, project-based approach to education. We offer UGC-recognized degrees (B.Tech/B.E and BCA) at partner campuses located in Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. Students at Mirai engage with an industry-aligned curriculum, earn certifications from global tech leaders, build real projects using cutting-edge tools, and gain hands-on experience through paid internships. As part of our faculty, you’ll play a critical role in delivering this future-focused, immersive learning experience—empowering the next generation deep tech professionals. Role Overview We’re looking for forward-thinking Computer Science faculty who are passionate about teaching and shaping the next generation of technologists. As a core member of the academic team at Mirai, you won’t just teach—you’ll mentor, inspire, and co-create with students in a high-energy, innovation-driven environment. Your role will combine the delivery of foundational and advanced CS/AI concepts with hands-on, industry-aligned projects. You’ll work closely with tech practitioners, contribute to evolving our AI-first curriculum, and help students bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative education model that’s preparing students for deep-tech careers—not just degrees. Key Responsibilities ● Curriculum Delivery: Teach undergraduate-level computer science courses such as Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, and System Design. ● Mentorship: Guide students through individual and group projects, providing mentorship and technical feedback. ● Content Development: Collaborate with academic leads to design and refine curriculum content, lab exercises, and assessments. ● Innovation in Teaching: Employ modern pedagogical methods and tools to enhance the learning experience (e.g., flipped classroom, code reviews, online tools). ● Student Evaluation: Conduct evaluations, assign grades, and provide meaningful feedback to students. ● Community Engagement: Contribute to the academic community by organizing tech talks, code labs, workshops, and hackathons. Required Qualifications ● Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Ph.D. is a plus). ● Strong grasp of core CS subjects and the ability to explain complex concepts with clarity ● Demonstrated experience in software development or teaching is a plus ● Excellent communication skills and a student-first mindset ● Familiarity with Git, Linux, and modern programming languages (C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.) Preferred Qualifications ● Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students at the undergraduate level ● Contributions to open-source projects or industry experience ● Experience with teaching platforms and tools (e.g., GitHub Classroom, Leet Code, Codechef, Hacker earth, Hacker rank) Hiring Process At Mirai, we don’t just hire faculty—we onboard collaborators in shaping the next generation of tech leaders. ● Application Shortlisting – CVs are screened by the academic leadership team ● Round 1: Project – Candidates complete a take-home project within 2–3 days ● Round 2: Technical Interview – A deep-dive interview to assess subject knowledge and problem-solving skills ● Round 3: Class Demonstration – Candidates deliver a mock lecture on a given topic to evaluate teaching ability ● Round 4: Leadership Discussion – A final conversation with leadership at Mirai to discuss career path at Mirai
