🧾 Job Title: Senior Manager – Accounts 📍 Location: Marol Mumbai 🕒 Experience Required: Minimum 10 years 🏢 Department: Finance & Accounts 📅 Employment Type: Full-time 🔎 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Accounts with at least 10 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance of a project / service company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing statutory filings, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required returns (IT, TDS, GST, Etc.). The role demands a proactive professional with strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations and a commitment to accuracy. 🛠 Key Responsibilities:  Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting & finalizing of Quarter / Annual / PL / BS of the company.  Prepare and file statutory returns including: o Income Tax o TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) o GST (Goods and Services Tax) o PF (Provident Fund) o ESI (Employee State Insurance) o MLWF (Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund)  Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and deadlines.  Reconcile books of accounts and maintain ledgers with high accuracy.  Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.  Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.  Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.  Review vendor and employee payments for compliance and accuracy.  Supervise junior accounting staff and guide team performance.  Stay updated on changes in taxation and statutory regulations. 📚 Qualifications & Skills:  Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance.  Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and statutory filings.  Proficient in accounting software (Tally).  Excellent communication and leadership skills.  High attention to detail and problem-solving ability. 💼 Preferred Attributes:  Experience in a construction, or contracting firm.  Hands-on experience in handling audits and liaising with statutory bodies.  Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
