Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Store Operations
- Oversee day-to-day receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
- Supervise inward & outward movement of materials ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory Management & Control
- Implement inventory control techniques to minimize obsolescence and pilferage.
- Ensure regular stock reconciliation and maintain FIFO/FEFO compliance.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly physical stock audits and resolve variances.
- SAP & Documentation
- Manage all store transactions and reporting through SAP (MM/WM modules).
- Ensure timely posting of GRN, stock transfers, returnable gate passes, etc.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation for internal and external audits.
- Audit & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, safety norms, and statutory requirements (FSSAI, EHS, etc.).
- Face internal/external audits (ISO, FSSAI, customer audits) and address NCs effectively.
- Maintain proper labeling, traceability, and shelf-life monitoring of all stocks.
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and train store executives and workers to ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, QA/QC, dispatch, and finance teams.
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, and lean practices within the warehouse.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Commerce / Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in stores/warehouse management, preferably in FMCG/Manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in SAP MM/WM, MS Excel, and inventory management tools.
- Strong knowledge of audit protocols, EHS compliance, and inventory accounting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
