ORGANIZATIONAL CHART Designation: Executive/ Sr. Executive Export SBU/Business division: Sales Reporting to: General Manager Location: Mumbai Job Description Job Purpose Our company is growing rapidly and is looking for an export manager. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent. Primary Duties & Responsibilities • Monitor, review, and provide strategic feedback to Sales and Trade & Marketing teams on customer performance to drive yield optimization. Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients. • Drive continuous improvement of process performance and team efficiency by using visual management systems. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies. • Development of a strategic export sales plan, demonstrating growth opportunities for existing and proposed products and projected revenues. • Implementation of best sales strategy and marketing. • Work directly with international customers and sales channel partners to meet export department sales/margin and growth plans for Petrochemicals & solvent trading products. • Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of global trade laws, customs regulations, and export documentation. • Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Expertise in shipping procedures, incoterms, and transportation logistics. • Negotiation & Communication: Strong skills in contract negotiations, client relations, and crossborder communication. • Market Intelligence: Ability to assess international market trends, pricing strategies, and business opportunities. • Technology & Software: Familiarity with ERP systems, export documentation software, and customs compliance tools. Skills Required • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field. • Strong understanding of global trade regulations. • Experience in export management, preferably in the petrochemical sector. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Proficiency in export documentation Behavioral Competencies • Commitment • Discipline • Integrity Work Experience • Proven experience in export documentation and international sales in the chemical industry • Good understanding of chemical products, HS codes, and regulatory compliance • 4-5 years of experience in product management or general management.
