Role Overview As the Purchase Manager, you will lead and optimize our end-to-end procurement function, ensuring timely sourcing of materials at competitive prices while maintaining high quality standards. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate crossfunctionally to support production and sales goals. Key Responsibilities  Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure raw materials, components, and services at optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms.  Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; maintain and strengthen relationships with existing vendors.  Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and service-level agreements; draft and manage contracts.  Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels; coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.  Cost Analysis: Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast price movements.  Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows, implement best practices, and leverage technology/tools (ERP/P2P systems).  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to align procurement plans with business needs.  Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and quality standards; prepare and present regular procurement reports and KPIs.  Roles : Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Assess, manage and mitigate risks. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Required Qualifications & Skills  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.  Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar purchasing/procurement role, preferably within [Ecommerce and Quick commerce ].  Strong negotiation and contract-management skills.  Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.  Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.  Knowledge of local and international sourcing markets is a plus.
