Job Description – Dispatch Executive (Chemical & Paints Industry)**

**Position Title:** Dispatch Executive

**Industry:** Chemicals & Paints

**Location:Indore

**Reports to:** Logistics / Supply Chain Manager

To manage and coordinate the timely, safe, and compliant dispatch of chemical and paint products to customers, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, while optimizing cost and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: -

1. **Dispatch Planning & Scheduling**

* Plan daily dispatches as per customer orders and production schedules.

* Prioritize urgent orders and coordinate with production and sales teams.

2. **Documentation & Compliance**

* Prepare delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, and e-way bills.

* Ensure compliance with hazardous material transportation regulations (MSDS, labeling, UN codes).

3. **Vehicle Coordination**

* Arrange transport vehicles (own fleet or third-party) for timely deliveries.

* Verify vehicle fitness, driver licenses, and safety equipment before loading.

4. **Loading & Quality Checks**

* Supervise loading activities ensuring proper packing, labeling, and weight checks.

* Coordinate with QC for product release before dispatch.

5. **Safety & Legal Requirements**

* Ensure adherence to safety protocols during handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.

* Maintain compliance with DGFT, GST, RTO, and pollution control norms.

6. **Inventory & Reporting**

* Maintain dispatch records in ERP/Excel.

* Provide daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports to management.

Key Skills & Competencies : -

* Knowledge of hazardous goods transport regulations (ADR, IMDG preferred).

* Familiarity with paints, resins, solvents, and chemical product categories.

* Strong coordination and communication skills.

* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).

* Problem-solving ability under time constraints.

Qualifications & Experience -

* Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

* 2–5 years experience in dispatch/logistics in chemicals or paints industry.

* DG shipping or hazardous goods handling certification preferred.
