Senior Data Scientist

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in data science and machine learning, and will possess a strong background in applying advanced machine learning algorithms to realworld business problems. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models, driving innovation in data-driven decision-making processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and assisting in the growth of the data science function within the organization. Key Responsibilities:  Model Development & Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models for various business applications, including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning models.  Deep Learning: Build and deploy deep learning models using frameworks like PyTorch or Tensor Flow.  End-to-End ML Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end machine learning pipeline, including data cleaning, feature engineering, model selection, training, testing, and deployment.  Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into machine learning solutions.  Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud services for model deployment and management; expertise in at least one cloud service (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a must.  Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, assisting them in developing technical skills and driving the quality of work within the team.  Model Deployment: Hands-on experience in deploying models into production environments and monitoring their performance.
