Job Description – Finance Executive


Company Name: XYXX Pvt. Ltd.

Position: Finance Executive

Location: Sachin, Surat

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month


Job Summary

The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting budget preparation, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily accounting and financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly/yearly closings.
  3. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  4. Ensure compliance with taxation laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
  5. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
  6. Liaise with auditors, banks, and external agencies as required.
  7. Maintain accurate financial records and support internal/external audits.
  8. Implement cost control measures and support management in financial decision-making.
  9. Ensure timely vendor payments and proper documentation.
  10. Support the finance team in developing policies, processes, and internal controls.




Key Functions of a Finance Executive

  1. Financial Management – Handling budgets, financial reports, and accounting records.
  2. Compliance & Audit Support – Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and audit processes.
  3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management – Monitoring inflows and outflows to ensure liquidity.
  4. Cost Control & Analysis – Identifying areas for financial efficiency and profitability.
  5. Reporting & Documentation – Preparing MIS reports, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  6. Stakeholder Coordination – Liaising with management, auditors, banks, and vendors.
  7. Risk & Control Management – Maintaining internal financial controls to minimize risks.
