Experience: 7+ years

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Mandatory Skills

* Strong expertise in **Scala** (preferred over Java) and **SQL**

* Hands-on experience with **Apache Spark**

* Strong knowledge of **Data Structures and Algorithms**

* Proven experience in **data engineering on large-scale systems**

* Exposure to **cloud-native environments** (Azure preferred)

* **Streaming Solutions:** Build real-time/near real-time data pipelines leveraging **Kafka** and **Event Hubs**

* **Architecture & Performance:** Own end-to-end design and architecture of data systems with a focus on **scalability, reliability, and performance**

* **Mentorship:** Guide and mentor junior engineers, enforce best practices, and maintain **high-quality coding standards**

* **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure **seamless product delivery** and integration
