Job Description for Project Manager About Vizara Technologies: Vizara is a technology start-up, founded by entrepreneurs holding PhDs from IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur and MIT, offering knowledge-based solutions with Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 3D printing technologies in various domains such as heritage preservation, tourism, education, entertainment, infrastructure, new media. Roles & Responsibilities: ● To coordinate between different teams such as research , content , design , technology, architect, and interior for seamless flow of information between them. ● To meet clients to report the progress done by the team and to incorporate suggestions from clients in the project. ● Assisting the design team to get work done. ● To create and monitor timelines of the project. ● Oversee contractual agreements between the Client and service providers, including all consultants and contractors for the museum . ● Coordinate all planning schedules for decommissioning and installations and circulate to the relevant parties. ● Shall be able to manage social media platforms, content, designs & posts. Desirable Qualities: ● Strong time management, Ticket Management, Task Management and organisational skills with the ability to work well in a group. This role requires someone that can work well under pressure, be hands on and has a flexible approach to working hours (when required). ● Problem solving, flexibility and maintaining professional standards when under pressure are key features required. ● An ability to take projects from concept to completion and an ability to be highly creative and think practically ● Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills ● Flexible approach to work, but highly committed. This project requires an organised person capable of maintaining accuracy and who has the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. ● Understanding of software development methodologies: The Project Manager should have an in-depth knowledge of various software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc. to choose the best one for the project based on the project requirements ● Programming languages and technologies: While a Project Manager is not expected to code, they need to have a basic understanding of programming languages and technologies used in the software development process. This includes languages like Java, Python, C++, .NET, etc. as well as technologies like databases, web servers, and other related tools. ● Quality assurance and testing: The Project Manager should have knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes, including automated testing tools, performance testing, user acceptance testing, and bug tracking. ● Project management software: The Project Manager should have experience using project management software like JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc. to track progress, manage tasks, and communicate with the team. ● Requirements gathering and analysis: The Project Manager should have experience in gathering and analyzing software requirements, creating technical specifications, and developing project plans. ● System architecture and design: The Project Manager should have an understanding of system architecture and design, including software architecture patterns, design principles, and development best practices. ● Data analysis and reporting: The Project Manager should have experience in data analysis and reporting, including the ability to create reports and dashboards that provide project status updates and insights to stakeholders. ● Performance-minded development and optimization skills Qualifications: ● Minimum 4 years’ experience of managing Projects that are technology and app based. ● B.tech/M.tech, BCA/MCA/ MBA Application and Assessment Process: Selected candidates will be invited to attend a combination of interviews and case studies.
