Job description
- Prepare for Welding:
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings to understand project requirements. Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
- Weld Components:
- Set up and operate electric arc welding equipment to join metal parts. Weld components in various positions, such as flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Inspect and Quality Control:
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. Identify and correct flaws in the welds.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Use and maintain welding machines, power supplies, and other specialized equipment. Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, regulations, and procedures. Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
