Service Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:  Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of rotary equipment and centrifuges at client sites.  Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimum performance.  Perform mechanical alignment, vibration analysis, and performance testing of rotary systems.  Prepare detailed service reports and documentation after each visit.  Provide technical support and training to clients during and after installation.  Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Production, Sales) to resolve technical issues.  Maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.  Adhere to all safety and quality protocols during field operations. Required Skills & Experience:  4–5 years of hands-on experience in servicing rotary equipment and centrifuges.  Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating machinery, seals, bearings, and alignment tools.  Ability to read mechanical drawings and service manuals.  Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.  Willingness to travel extensively across India as per project requirements.  Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Attributes:  Experience in servicing for chemical, pharma, or process industries.  Knowledge of maintenance practices, lubrication systems, and vibration analysis.  Ability to work independently at remote sites with minimal supervision.
