Job description

1. Prepare for Welding:
2. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings to understand project requirements. Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding.

4. Weld Components:
5. Set up and operate electric arc welding equipment to join metal parts. Weld components in various positions, such as flat, vertical, and overhead.

7. Inspect and Quality Control:
8. Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. Identify and correct flaws in the welds.

10. Equipment Maintenance:
11. Use and maintain welding machines, power supplies, and other specialized equipment. Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.

13. Safety Compliance:
14. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, regulations, and procedures. Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
