1. Position Purpose
Drive incremental utilisation of Durian’s manufacturing capacity by building and managing a dealer network for our new white‑label / OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) furniture range. The role owns dealer acquisition, on boarding, order generation, cash collection and factory coordination to ensure predictable demand and healthy margins.

The role owns dealer acquisition, on boarding, order generation, cash collection and factory coordination to ensure predictable demand and healthy margins.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Market Mapping & Lead Generation
- Identify and profile standalone, non‑branded furniture retailers and regional distributors in Tier‑1/2/3 cities.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date funnel and submit weekly progress reports.
- Dealer On boarding & Relationship Management
- Negotiate MOQs, display commitments and payment terms (cash‑and‑carry preferred).
- Train dealers on product specifications, BIS compliance and ordering process.
- Demand Activation & Repeat Business
- Launch channel promotions (WhatsApp catalogues, sample packs, in‑store collaterals).
- Monitor sell‑out data; trigger re‑orders and recommend SKU tweaks or bundles.
- Payments & Collections
- Ensure advance or on‑delivery payment execution; where credit is authorised, achieve > 95 % collection within 30 days.
- Reconcile dealer accounts monthly with Finance.
- Factory Coordination & Administration
- Consolidate weekly dealer forecasts and share with factory planners.
- Liaise on finish batching, dispatch schedules, freight claims and sample requests.
- Maintain organised records—MOUs, GST details, BIS label masters—for audit readiness.
- Channel Communication & Reporting
- Issue a fortnightly “Dealer Bulletin” covering new SKUs, price changes and schemes.
- Submit a concise Monday dashboard: leads added, dealers on boarded, orders booked, cash collected.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12 years in B2B or dealer/channel sales within furniture
- Demonstrable track record of opening new counters and driving repeat orders.
- Comfortable with extensive travel and vernacular negotiations (Hindi + one regional language).

Nice‑to‑Have
- Existing dealer network in North & Central India.
- Experience launching OEM/white‑label product lines.
Travel Requirements
Up to 15–20 days per month across India for dealer visits, roadshows and factory coordination.
