Job Title:Data Analyst Experience: 5+ Years Location:Kolkata Industry: E-commerce About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in data maintenance, analysis, and reporting to support our e-commerce operations. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, driving business insights, and enabling informed decision-making across functions such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources within the e-commerce ecosystem. Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for management and operational teams. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through effective data governance practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, supply chain) to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Monitor KPIs such as customer acquisition, retention, product performance, and order fulfillment efficiency. Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support decision-making by providing actionable insights from structured and unstructured data. Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. * Minimum **5 years of experience in data analysis and data maintenance** (preferably in the **e-commerce industry**). * Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). * Hands-on experience with data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques. * Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis is a plus. * Understanding of e-commerce KPIs and data models. * Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. * Ability to manage large datasets and ensure data quality across multiple systems. --- ### **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar). * Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse). * Exposure to machine learning concepts for predictive analytics in e-commerce.
