Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – Sales (Automotive Cable & Harness)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 8-10+ years in Sales of Cables / Wire Harness to the Automotive Segment

Industry Preference: Automotive Cables, Wiring Harness, Electrical Components, or related industries

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager / Senior Manager – Sales to lead business development and sales initiatives for our automotive cable & harness segment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in selling to OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and driving market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying and acquiring new customers in the automotive sector, including OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers.
  2. Account Management: Manage existing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  3. Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities and emerging trends.
  4. Revenue & Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  5. Technical Sales Support: Work closely with the technical and engineering teams to provide solutions tailored to customer needs.
  6. Commercial Negotiations: Handle pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions to close deals profitably.
  7. New Product Introduction: Collaborate with product teams to introduce new cable & harness solutions based on market demand.
  8. Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for management review.
  9. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  10. Participation in Trade Shows & Exhibitions: Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and trade fairs.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience: 8-10+ years of sales experience in automotive cable & wire harness or related products.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s/ Diploma degree in Engineering.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive supply chain, component sourcing, and customer requirements.
  4. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with cable specifications, automotive standards, and industry compliance norms.
  5. Sales Expertise: Proven ability to develop new business and close high-value deals.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  7. Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  8. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to address customer pain points with effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in selling to automotive OEMs & Tier-1 suppliers.
  2. Understanding of automotive cable standards
