Job description
A Delivery Executive is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of packages, documents, or food to customers within a designated area, often involving driving, navigation, and customer interaction. Key duties include loading and unloading goods, using navigation apps, collecting signatures and payments, maintaining product quality, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Essential skills for the role include time management, navigation, customer service, physical fitness, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Package Handling:
- Safely pick up, load, transport, and deliver packages or other items to their intended recipients.
- Route Management:
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and maps to ensure timely delivery.
- Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues that arise during delivery.
- Documentation & Payments:
- Obtain customer signatures, verify customer IDs, and collect payments when required.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure packages are delivered undamaged and maintain product quality throughout the delivery process.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of service.
