Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Area Collection Head to manage and drive collection activities in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to unsecured loan collections, possess established DSA (Direct Selling Agent) networks, and maintain solid agency connections to ensure effective recovery and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities  Lead and oversee collections for unsecured loan portfolios across the assigned area.  Manage, develop, and monitor a network of collection agencies and DSAs to achieve recovery targets.  Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and regulatory guidelines during collection activities.  Formulate and implement collection strategies to minimize delinquency and improve recovery rates.  Handle escalated cases, negotiate settlements, and manage difficult customer interactions.  Analyze portfolio performance and provide regular reports to senior management.  Recruit, train, and mentor collection teams to ensure high productivity and performance.  Build and maintain strong relationships with local agencies, DSAs, and market stakeholders. Key Requirements  Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in collections of unsecured loans (personal loans, business loans, or similar products).  Proven experience in handling agency-driven and DSA-driven collections.  Strong agency and DSA network connections in the Chennai region.  Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.  Ability to analyze data and take proactive corrective actions.  Graduate degree required; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
