1 Position: Reports to: Operations Manager – F2 Factory Head Location: F2 Role Statement: • To lead and manage all operations at Factory 2, ensuring smooth flow of material, adherence to production schedules, compliance with quality & safety standards, and coordination with crossfunctional teams. • Effectively manage resources, processes, and people to achieve timely output and efficiency targets. Deliverables: 1. Ensure 100% timely receipt of materials, storage, and dispatch of finished products at F2 factory as per production & project schedules. 2. Achieve targeted operational efficiency levels while maintaining zero non-conformance in quality and safety. 3. Build, lead, and develop the F2 team for consistent performance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Operations Management • Plan & execute the production at F2 based on the inputs received from the Factory planning team. • Monitor day-to-day operations - material receipt from F1 & glasses, storage, machining, fabrication, assembly, and dispatch. • Monitor daily production and dispatch schedules to ensure on-time delivery. • Coordinate with F1 and other departments for smooth transfer of material and production flow. Team Leadership & Development • Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure discipline among team members. • Coach, guide, and develop the F2 operations team for improved productivity. • Conduct regular team meetings and reviews to align with goals. Compliance, Quality & Safety • Ensure adherence to quality standards in all processes. • Maintain 100% compliance with safety norms and statutory requirements. • Implement and sustain 5S and other housekeeping practices. 2 Process Improvement & Efficiency • Track and analyze production efficiency, downtime, rejections, and dispatch accuracy. • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. • In collaboration with the Factory Head, identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve turnaround time. MIS Reporting • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders for operational requirements. • Maintain accurate records of stock, dispatches, and production reports. • Present daily/weekly/monthly performance reports to Factory Head. Educational Qualification: • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred). • Additional certifications in Operations / Supply Chain / Lean Manufacturing will be an added advantage. Experience: • 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing / operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • Prior experience in aluminium / UPVC / fabrication industry preferred. • Exposure to managing multi-stage production, material flow, and dispatch operations. • Hands-on experience in implementing process improvements, safety, and quality compliance.
