Azure APIM Specialist

Hi

We are looking for professionals with 5–6 years of experience in API gateway technologies and 2–4 years of hands-on expertise in Azure API Management (APIM). Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in API lifecycle management, cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Configure and manage Azure API Management policies, developer portals, and API lifecycle. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable API integrations. • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance using Azure monitoring tools. • Ensure compliance with security standards and governance policies. Required Skills and Experience API Management & Integration • Experience with Azure API Management. • Proficiency in Azure API Management (APIM): • API import/export • Policy configuration (rate limiting, transformation, etc.) • Developer portal setup • Versioning and revisions • Proficiency in RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation. Security & Governance • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API key management. • Experience with Azure Key Vault and RBAC. • Understanding of compliance and governance in cloud environments. DevOps & Automation • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. • Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code. Monitoring & Troubleshooting • Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. • Ability to debug and optimize API performance.
