Job Summary:
As a Purchase Executive at Encore Modular Furniture Pvt Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring
the efficient procurement of materials, components, and services required for our furniture
manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Director, you will collaborate with suppliers,
negotiate terms, and maintain a seamless flow of supplies while adhering to quality standards and
cost considerations.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers that align with
the company's quality and cost requirements.
-Sourcing and Negotiation: Source materials, components, and services from reliable suppliers while
negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Purchase Orders: Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate
procurement of materials and supplies.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with production, planning, and inventory teams to ensure
timely availability of materials for production schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased materials meet
specified quality standards.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and optimize
spending while ensuring cost efficiency.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to
make informed sourcing decisions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and
correspondence for auditing purposes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate
disruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, finance, and logistics
to ensure smooth operations.
- Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company
policies.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to
address issues and maintain positive relationships.
