Delivery Executive

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. · Deliver Packages: Safely transport packages to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
2. · Load and Unload: Carefully load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
3. · Adhere to Routes and Schedules: Follow designated routes and delivery schedules provided by the company or supervisor.
4. · Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. · Payment Collection: Collect payments for deliveries when required.
6. · Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
7. · Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
8. · Communication: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues.
9. · Problem Solving: Address any problems or issues that may arise during deliveries, such as lost packages or incorrect addresses.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Valid driver's license.
3. Clean driving record.
4. Proven delivery experience is preferred.
5. Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
6. Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
7. Excellent time management skills.
8. Effective communication skills.
9. Exceptional customer service skills.
10. Punctual and reliable.
