### **Job Summary:**

The Electrical Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare detailed **electrical layout drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), control schematics, panel drawings**, and wiring diagrams.

* Develop **lighting, power, earthing, and cable routing layouts** as per project requirements.

* Update and modify drawings as per **engineering revisions and client feedback**.

* Coordinate with project engineers to ensure drawings meet **technical specifications, standards, and safety codes (IEC/IS/NEMA, etc.)**.

* Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation in accordance with **quality control procedures**.

* Assist in **preparation of material take-offs, BOQs**, and as-built drawings.

* Work collaboratively with other design disciplines (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) for integrated project deliverables.

* Ensure timely completion of drawings and documentation as per project schedules.

### **Qualifications and Skills:**

* **Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering** or equivalent.

* **2–5 years** of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman in EPC / MEP / Industrial / Building services projects.

* Proficiency in **AutoCAD (2D/3D)**; knowledge of **Revit / EPLAN / MicroStation** is an advantage.

* Strong understanding of **electrical systems, panel design, cable sizing, and protection schemes**.

* Familiarity with **national and international electrical standards** (IS, IEC, IEEE, NEC).

* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

* Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
