About the positionAEIS is seeking a forward-looking web developer with broad experience who's eager to learn in asupportive team environment.You will become a key member of the team, allowing us to expand our capabilities and enhance theleading-edge infield software tool we have created. You will support other members of the team aswell as take the lead on both new and ongoing projects.The developer position requires a strong working knowledge of software and web developmentbest-practices, including MVP design patterns, security, test-driven development, and performance.You will need to be curious about expanding your own skill set, emerging trends, platforms, andtechnologies.What you'll doDevelop next-generation web, tablet and mobile experiences using emerging toolsets andframeworksCollaborate closely with other design, development, and customer-facing team membersProduce clean, readable code with corresponding documentationCollaborate closely with team members to understand, refine, and verify test casesParticipate in code reviewsAssist with DevOps including code release management and deployment, where applicableMeet with clients and team members to understand their needs and propose technical solutionsTake on additional duties as appropriate that enhance the customer and AEIS team membersexperienceExperience3-4 years of Full-stack software development experience using a web or mobile programminglanguage, HTML5/CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, and/or Vue, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, and some familiaritywith iOS and Knowledge of xCode and Object-C is a bonus.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, similar technical degree, or animpressive GitHub profileDeep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, andsoftware design principlesMust be willing to work in a closely-knit team environment and must demonstrate a passion forsolving business problems with technologyExperience with test-driven development (unit, acceptance and functional testing)
