Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee transporter development and manage daily logistics coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in identifying and onboarding new transporters and should be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new transporters for both local and national routes.

• Coordinate daily with the dispatch team to ensure timely vehicle loading and dispatch.

• Manage day-to-day communication with drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

• Prepare daily dispatch reports and logistics expense reports with accuracy and consistency.

• Oversee the movement of raw materials and handle import shipment coordination in collaboration with the purchase and production teams.

• Regularly travel to factory locations to meet and develop transporter relationships on-ground.

• Submit weekly and monthly reports to management, summarizing performance, challenges, and improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in logistics, with a strong track record in new vendor/transporter development.

• Candidates with only dispatch coordination will not be considered.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools.

• Willing to travel to industrial/factory locations as required.
