Job Title: Plant Head – Engineering, Maintenance & Facilities Location: Bhiwandi / Mumbai Salary : 18 LPA To 24 LPA Company: The Whole Truth Foods About The Whole Truth We’re rebuilding the world’s trust in its food. Role Overview We’re looking for a Plant Head (Engineering & Facilities) to lead all technical functions across our manufacturing units — ensuring every machine, line, and utility performs at its best. You’ll own maintenance, engineering, MEP, facilities, and project execution for both our existing factory and upcoming new plant — driving uptime, efficiency, and compliance, while building a strong, capable engineering team. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Engineering Excellence • Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all production and utility equipment — from bar lines and powder blenders to chocolate processing and packaging machines. • Build and implement a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) calendar and digital tracking system (CMMS). • Drive Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure zero-repeat breakdowns. • Manage AMCs, spare part planning, and vendor performance to ensure reliability and cost efficiency. ☼O ◦ Projects, Commissioning & Expansion • Lead installation and commissioning of new production lines and technologies — from FAT/SAT to full-scale ramp-up. • Collaborate with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for process optimization and capacity scaling. • Drive layout design, utility planning, and compliance for the new plant project. –^ ¯ − _¹ MEP & Infrastructure • Oversee Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems design, execution, and maintenance for both plants. • Manage utilities — power, water, compressed air, HVAC, ETP/STP, and fire-fighting systems. • Ensure all MEP work adheres to safety, statutory, and GMP standards. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project consultants for on-time, within-budget project delivery. ´O .• .˙ Facilities, Housekeeping & Upkeep • Maintain world-class hygiene and GMP standards across production and non-production areas. • Oversee the upkeep of buildings, roads, canteens, and storage facilities. • Partner with QA and Admin for pest control, sanitation, and waste management SOPs. + Team Leadership • Lead the engineering, maintenance, and utilities teams with strong on-ground presence. • Build team capability through structured skill training and ownership culture. • Collaborate closely with Production and QA to drive continuous improvement across operations. Key Requirements • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering • Experience: 10–15 years in FMCG / Food / Nutraceutical manufacturing Proven expertise in: • Preventive & predictive maintenance systems • Utility management and MEP projects • Machine installation & commissioning • CAPEX planning and project management • FSSAI / GMP / ISO compliance • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and vendor management What Success Looks Like • ⬛ 95%+ equipment uptime • ⬛ Zero major utility or MEP failures • ⬛ 100% adherence to preventive maintenance schedule • ⬛ On-time, within-budget execution of new plant and expansion projects • ⬛ High GMP, safety, and internal/external audit scores Why Join Us Because here, ownership isn’t a title — it’s a way of life.
