Quality Control Engineer

Job description

 Conduct regular quality inspections of materials, processes, and final products to ensure adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and Durall’s quality requirements.  Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for glass, facades, and related systems.  Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any quality-related issues and improve product quality.  Perform tests on materials and products to ensure their strength, durability, and performance under varying conditions.  Analyze test data and prepare reports to document results and identify areas for improvement.  Maintain quality control records and documentation for compliance purposes.  Supervise and guide junior QC staff, ensuring they adhere to quality protocols.  Support the development and implementation of corrective actions in case of defects or non-conformities.  Conduct root cause analysis on defects or quality issues, propose corrective and preventive actions, and track their implementation.  Keep up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices to continually improve Durall's quality systems.  Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to seniOR MANAGEMENT
