Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Design Manager to lead our design and

engineering department for facade and metal projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive

experience in facade design, detailing, structural analysis, and project coordination, with strong

leadership and client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead and manage the design team for facade, glazing, and metal cladding projects from

concept to execution.

 Develop design strategies, concepts, and detailed engineering solutions for building

envelopes.

 Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare technical design proposals and

system details.

 Ensure design compliance with project specifications, performance standards, and

international facade norms.

 Oversee 3D modeling, fabrication, and installation drawings using tools such as

AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.

 Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and project managers for technical

discussions and approvals.

 Conduct design risk assessments, material selection, and value engineering for cost

optimization.

 Manage the preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and documentation for

submission.

 Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the design team.

 Collaborate with production and site teams to resolve design and execution challenges.

 Ensure timely delivery of design packages in line with project schedules and quality

requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

 In-depth knowledge of facade systems, curtain walls, structural glazing, ACP

cladding, and architectural metals.

 Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other 3D design tools.

 Sound understanding of structural behavior of facade systems and wind load

calculations.

 Excellent leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.

 Strong communication and client-handling abilities.

 Detail-oriented with a focus on innovation, functionality, and aesthetics.

Qualification:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Architectural Engineering or

equivalent.
