Job description
Experience:
Around 10 years of experience in Business Development / Marketing in Government and Semi-Government sectors, particularly in GIS, IT, or e-Governance projects.
Preferred Background:
Candidates from GeoSpatial organisations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand business development initiatives in the GIS / IT / e-Governance sector.
- Develop sectoral business strategies and outreach plans.
- Manage the complete proposal development and bidding process for government tenders and RFPs.
- Build and manage Pre-Sales, Bidding, and Customer Success teams to drive growth.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in government and PSU segments.
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposal accuracy and client satisfaction.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of GIS / e-Governance / IT solution space.
- Proven track record of successful tender bidding and project acquisition in the government sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
