Job description

Experience:

Around 10 years of experience in Business Development / Marketing in Government and Semi-Government sectors, particularly in GIS, IT, or e-Governance projects.

Preferred Background:

Candidates from GeoSpatial organisations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and expand business development initiatives in the GIS / IT / e-Governance sector.
  2. Develop sectoral business strategies and outreach plans.
  3. Manage the complete proposal development and bidding process for government tenders and RFPs.
  4. Build and manage Pre-Sales, Bidding, and Customer Success teams to drive growth.
  5. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in government and PSU segments.
  7. Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposal accuracy and client satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strong understanding of GIS / e-Governance / IT solution space.
  2. Proven track record of successful tender bidding and project acquisition in the government sector.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Leadership and team management experience.
  5. Ability to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
